If you think that the Beatles are old-fashioned... it means that you haven't listened to them carefully enough!
And yes, as you guessed in class, there is a song called 'Julia'. And now, the big question:
Who is or was the real Julia? I mean, why is this song called 'Julia'? And what happened to her? Maybe this way you will understand why the song is so slow...
Of course, meanwhile, you can listen to the song...

Countries
How do we say Jamaica in English?
If you are interested in knowing how countries are pronounced in English... you can't miss this video!
Unfortunately it's not updated... so some countries have changed! Be careful and check your Geography book! :-)

Places

Which is your favourite city?
One of my favourite cities is Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. There is a big park near the castle, and you can walk up the hill and see the city from Carlton Hill. In Edinburgh there is also the Holyrood Palace, the Queen's official residence in Scotland.
People are very nice, and in summer there are lots of tourists, specially during the Edinburgh International Festival!
Edinburgh is also well-known for its New Year's celebration.
It's the biggest street party in Europe!
What about you? What is your favourite city?
